Hi guys.. i have applied for family visa with all the required documents. 1st it was like 'deferred' as im a surveyor nd i have engineer designation in the id. Then i had interview at the committee..they just asked degree or diploma and said to check within 2 days.

but i checked on the day itself it was like 'the application is rejected'

Can anybody advice me that what would be the exact problem?

when they asked diploma or bachelor? what did you answered? sometimes there will be problem with the position in your QID and position in your company.. much better to go back to immigration asked why it was rejected...

Dear Mahir,

Same instance happened with one of my colleague. His wife's Family Entry Visa was rejected inspite of valid & complete documents & there was no reason provided. He called his wife on a visit visa & then he was able to transfer it to a resident visa. You may try this if there is no progress in your family visa.

Hope your salary is above 10k QAR since this is a primary requirement.

Just be patient and hope for the best. Sometimes, it takes more than a single attempt to get one.

NO HARD AND FAST RULES JUST DEPENDS UPON THEIR MOOD AS KNOR MENTIONED

sometimes, it depends on the interviewer's mood. or your documents have technicality issues. maybe your diploma have a "pink" ribbon, instead of red. :)

The problem could be that Qatar is a family-unfriendly country. You are here to work, not to be happy.
