i am joining as senior engineer ,good and reputed company in february,

any idea how long, it takes to process family visa ?

i am currenlty in Dubai, and i am worried that if my family visa is not processed in time, i can not bring my child to qatar in time and he can miss one academic year as i can not keep them here in dubai once my visa is cancelled. i have to cancel their visa before my visa.

regards

qatarisun, chillax..:))

Regarding query, if you have decided to move in HERE(DOHA), you need to get RESIDENT PERMIT first in order to call your family later..It will take approx.1month..You need to do your medical, finger printing and then you will get a stamp on your passport for RP..

You can call your family on VISIT VISA first which can be done immediately...duration of VISIT VISA is 5+1=6 months..

For FAMILY VISA, you should have 3 or 6 monthly bank statement..So better opt for VISIT VISA first..While their stay, you can proceed for FAMILY VISA then....

Wallah, I don’t understand these people… Ok, when some miserable soul with “semi-legal” Qatari residency received from some “monkey business”, where no PRO, no HR department, no clue about Qatari rules and laws, asks this type of questions, at least I am sorry for him.. But YOU? “senior engineer”, “good and reputed company”.. why on the earth you ask this question bunch of unprofessional strangers here, rather than to address this query to the HR department, immigration section, of your “good and reputed company”? WHO can give the better answer than PRO of your company? Now you will get 10 contradicting answers, one more stupid than another..
