FAMILY VISA VISA v.s. RESIDENCE VISA
By psychoroxxy •
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to clarify the difference between the 2 ???
On moi.gov.qa ... req. outlined for family visit visa also include "Document to prove relationship" (http://www.moi.gov.qa/site/english/departments/PassportDept/news/2011/01...) ... now I may sound stupid asking this but just wanna know what documents can we use for this ???
Secondly, for getting family residence visa ... do parents have to be employed by any organization of qatar ???
Lastly, Is there any age limit for getting family visit visa. If there is one then PLEASE SHARE.
? ... ok :-s
I SAY HELLO AND SHE SAYS GOODBYE
hello ??? anybody else ...
?????
U mean to say I should be married if I need to call them out to Doha on a visit visa ?????? plz explain !!!
you cannot take residence visa for your parents.
if you want to invite on of your family members
you should be married
if you wanna got family residence one of your family members should have work residence ;)
must u be married to bring in your mother? i was refused a visa for my mom because im single can anyone clarify this for me please.
@ jakula 89,
The max age limit that you outlined is applicable in both cases ... visit visa and residence visa ???
@ badrick2dogs,
Birth certificate sounds great but do we have to get that certified/attested or is a copy acceptable rightaway ???
btw .... I will sponsoring my parents as I will be under w wroking visa.
"Document to prove relationship"
Don't know about your country but in UK our birth certificate lists both parents. As family refers to 'Direct Family' this would be Mother/Father or Daughter/Son
afaik, family visit visa is valid for 1 month but can be renewed for a maximum of 6 months only while family residence visa, its a permanent visa, can be renewed every year or so. or until your sponsor (father or husband) decides to leave the country for good.. and for the age limit, i think it's 60 y/o. thats' all i know. hope this helps...
