I just recieved my official work visa from my employer. However, I haven't arrived to Qatar yet and I am living with my wife outside of Qatar. I am wondering if it is possible to apply for family visit visa for my wife now, so that we could arrive to Qatar together? If yes, could you please tell me the proceedure?

Hi what are the informations needed to enter Qatar with Family? Do you have a valid working permit/visa? and what is the profession? Thanks

It's possible. I arrived with my wife and son. We were all on visit visa initially and the company applied for our RP's as soon as we arrived.

However, for a visit visa I don't think you'll need that. This is for a family residence visa, if your wife wants to stay in Qatar with you, which should be the "normal" way in my opinion.

No, because you will also need a six-month salary statement from a bank. So, at the earliest you can apply after you have a bank account with your salary transferred for six months.

Thanks a lot. My employer said that I will have to apply my wife's visa by myself, so that means there is no way I can process the visa before I come to Qatar alone :(

Ask your employer to apply for her visa. You can't do anything as long as you don't have an RP.
