Hi guys. My family resident visa has been under process and approved for almost 6 months now... it will expire July 9th.. they said it s at CID ... if it s approved from immigration and not yet from CID does that mean the expiry date once is overdue then we have to apply alll over again? ? Plz help.. it s been hectic i still cannot understand why is it extremely hard to get a residence to be with my husband...

I applied for the visa at their main building in Khalifa, and after 5 days I visited them and explained my situation to the captain and got it.

just a quick update: my husband applied for me a family visit visa yesterday, it was under review and today it has changed to Under process with 3 months validity.

I hope that we will have a better chance this time.

Guys we will all get it I am sure but only wait it takes time even if it expires but I am very sure we will. Don't get desperate as I am waiting too. My friend got it after 5 or 6 month I know it's long time but be positive and don't get frustrated.

My husband applied for me family visa and went to jawezet they told him it'd under process. And from their side it's approved from jawezet. That's why they put approval information but from أمن we have to wait and the mandoub told him that all Lebanese visas wether work or family it will be approved but from أمن they won't and keep it until it gets expired Unless we get lucky one day

Been 2 months and my entry visa is not issued yet , anyone knows whats wrong with the visas! Have they somehow stopped issuing visas for a period of time ?!!

Souheir... the PRO went today and they told him that the VISA is no longer in the Jawazat, it went for إجراءات أمنية . so as everyone told me it's CID. I called CID he said it's not CID it is something only for Visas and it' s an office for إجراءات أمنية and you can't call them or communicate with them. all you have to do is wait for their decision.

I think I'll wait for your visit first as I don't have any good reason to give for this visa ... just I miss parent... may be it's not enough :-(

Souheir. I have been told that you have to go to Gharrafa and ask for Captain Nasser El Attiyah.

you talk to someone over there or if you can to the Captain and tell him your case and he will directly sign your visa.

as for me I will wait till the end of this week. but if you want you can go there and give it a try. you have to go between 6AM at 11 AM.

my husband will be calling the PRO in the afternoon to check if he passed by the office and what did they say. Many Lebanese are getting the visa but sometimes it's taking like 3 months and some other times it is taking 9 months and if they are lucky it is taking them 2 weeks.

Let's wait and see. however our expiry date is in april so I am hoping they will take this into consideration.

I will keep you posted anyway. and you too update me if you got any news.

and By the Way, expiry date in 21 april 2015. so it's already 3 months from now
