Further to Exit Permit..

Thanks to all for answering my previous question re - permit. Further I would like to ask for your opinion on fact that I do not feel comfortable having my freedom of movement restricted like that. I appologise, if I offend anybody, but it seems to me that this "permit" can be a way how to control you, specialy if the reality of the job is not as sweet as it was promised, and than you can be just "denied" your exit, if you complain...Please tell me that I am paranoid on this issue. Obviously my experience about Qatar is very limeted and therefore would love to hear from you, how good realy is life in Qatar. Thanks

You are in Qatar and this is the rule of the land. We don't have a choice, do we? And as per baldrick suggestion, if you really feel that way, try to find work elsewhere.

Thank you gentleman for your feedback. Have you ever heard of anybody been abused by that issue before? If not, there is no need to be concerned, is there... Well, I am used to decency , democracy and freedom. Am I going to suffer in Qatar? What do you think. ( I will be teaching in Q) Cheers:)

If you don't feel comfortable you are free to go home at any time. Those are the rules of the land. If you don't like them don't come here!
