Getting a housemaid
Hello everyone,
May be i am asking a question which is repeated by many bwfore but so far i could not find a proper answer which satisfies my doubts.. please excuse me for this....
i am indian living here with family, now we are looking for a indian housemaid who can lookafter our new born baby .. i was told if i apply i might get a srilankan or philippina visa...but i wish to have a indian housemaid ....
is there anyone who can help us getting an indian visa? or anyone who can convert the philippina/srilankan visa (if i get) to an indian visa...? pls help ...

Since he is an Indian he would prefer Indian maid. It would be more easier explaining the cooking methods.
Try making the perfect chappati. Or Sambar, or rasam, or upma, or medhu wada, or idli, or paneer or avail.
Ok expert cooks can cook any food....but not all maids are one.
You can not get a housemaid the same nationality as yourself - rule designed to stop say an Indian bringing in his whole family as domestics.... an Indian can have a Sri Lankan maid - a Sri lankan can have an Indian maid.
The sooner I fall behind, the longer I will have to catch up....
I thought the government in India didn't want to export any more young women to become housemaids in the Gulf. So, the government there is not issuing any visas for women who want to do this. This is what I have heard. Therefore, it may be more difficult to find an Indian maid than maids from other nationalities.
