Getting a police clearance - in Qatar
Hi everybody.
I am in Qatar and applying for residency in another country. This other country requires a police clearance from Qatar. Has anyone done this before? Is there any easy way to do this or will it mean tedious amounts of time standing in line waiting for civil servants to wake up?
Any help appreciated.
Hi can you help me to get police certificate
Thirdly: for the purpose of submission outside the country in the case of immigration or doing business or for study or for any other purpose:
** The following documents must be brought if the applicant is a resident:
1- A personal letter states the purpose for granting of the certificate of good conduct.
2- The passport and ID card and a copy of both cards.
3- 3 photographs size (4x6).
4- Fees: a 5 Riyals category revenue stamp.
I think youu hyave to get the one from your home country first. And then get the one from Qatar...

Well, I had to get a security check done in Canada and it took forever, so I can only imagine here, given the "crack" nature of the police force here. :P
That's what I was worried about...but people can dream can't they? :)
I'm not sure, but I vote for tedious amounts of time standing in line waiting for civil servants to wake up.
