Girlfriend under company sponsorship
Hi everybody,
I'm French and I live in Doha with my Girlfriend. I work for an European Company and I will have my resident visa soon.
My girlfriend is under tourist visa but when she's looking for a job, every recruter asked she "did you are under your husband visa?"....Rgggg no!
So it seem to be a problem for the little company to porvide a job AND a working visa! but Why!
So is it possible to ask my company provide a sponsor to my girlfriend but without the advantages?

Gf arent considered to be dependent here in Qatar so she has to find a company that are welling to sponsor here, good luck

because as far as i know the immigration does not issue any company work visa now for ladies unless otherwise the company has visa which Labour Department issued before.Try other company that having visa for female applicant. And yes flor 1212 is right once you get married with her and your salary is more than QR. 7.000 thats the time you could sponsor her.Wish you and her luck !
there is no need for husband visa or something like that...she can get a job in any company..no company will sponsor anyone without advantages as u said...i have single european girls working in my company under company sponsorship..no big deal..
yes it's possible. and what do you mean by 'without the advantages'?one of the reasons why small companies does hire only female employee under husband visa is because it's less benefits for the female employee and less hassle for them on acquiring/processing visas.
I know that's not approved in Qatar.But it's like that, i had a job opportunity, I'm not married. But this is another problem. The first is, my friend can't find a job cause this sponsorship. Only the company can provide a visa!
