Gratuity is only from 2005 ?

Hi, I have been working with my company since 2003. I am leaving the company this month. How much Gratuity I will get? Company says Gratuity started from 2005 onwards. I know the law has come that time. But It's for whole service period , Right?
Then I heard If anyone works with the company 5 years they will get 1 month gratuity per year instead of 21 Days per year.

Although the labor law says for the first five years 21 days per year, 2nd five years 28 days, 10th to 20 years 35 days and after 20 years 40 days per year , but It differs company to company also.
