Help and Advice needed

I know a lot of people have asked for help, advices, posted an experience or shared a feeling on this site and just hoping the people will never get tired of reading and offering their thoughts and help. After trying so hard to solve my problem myself, I realized I have given all my power to find an answer but to no avail. I am running out of options that is why I am here asking for those who know anything to solve my problem. My cousin is on one month visit visa and wanted to extend it or transfer it. Anyone of you knows anything how to do it, my brain is almost blowing up. I want her to stay more since she is a very big help to me also to keep me company away from our family. Thanks in advance!!

I'm not that expert in this line. but what i did when i failed to obtain a residence visa for my wife, i arranged visit visa ( 'jiara shakhsi' in arabic) and I was the sponsor for her visa. within 1 week of her arrival i extended it for further 5 months. I don't know if you can sponsor your cousin for such a visit. Better consult the typist shop people. one typing shop/agency is located behind Habib qatar exchange at national area.

best of luck.

i got her tourist visa in one of the agencies here. can i go to the immigration myself since the agency told me that she has to exit before renewing. or is it possible to extend tourist visa without exiting. and i have read so much threads here that tourist visa can not be transferred to working visa, is that true? or if can be can anyone tell me the solution and where i can do this? thanks again in advance..

you may go to immigration office in Gharafa and extend it up to a total of six month paying the fees (200 QR for each month). Take her passport with u and go to block # 4.

One month visit visa or Tourist visa? If Visit Visa then who is her sponsor. Visit Visa certainly can be extended provided her sponsor is willing. Best thing is to find some job (based on her qualifications and experience) and get Residence Permit.
