probably you took somedays to surrender the phone. May be at first you thought to keep it with you but when someone advice then you surrender but during that time it's already reported to CID. For an example when you got the lost phone, the owner(The lady)must call from other number but in that time you didn't pick up the call & may be you switched off it. CID shouldn't catch you if they didn't find any intention from you to hide it. Now it's a matter of CID. So, only CID can remove this ban.

Move on. Try Dubai - they like ne'er do wells there.

Forget to go back here in Qatar, your case cannot be resolve by your wife so easily. You are blacklisted forever and that's it!

the solution I proposed is your only option. Your name should be cleared in the police file, nothing more, nothing less. It only means that your name is in the blacklist!

You found and kept the phone...that's theft.

For you it's a minor issue....but for you to get deported because of that...THAT IS A MAJOR issue.

Your old company has nothing to do with it...so it's either the complaint be removed from record.

so need to go to MOI and clear the issue. I think there is a need to clear the complaint of the local lady! Or maybe, the Police Captain can be requested to removed that complaint as it is already too old. Depending on the official complaint report! Ask your wife to go to police or to higher authorities!

Geee..you're keeping a phone number of qatari lady? Probably your previous company has nothing to do about it, arrange it with qatari authorities if your wife have the chance, but that is a hell of a job.

my mistake was only "found the cellphone of a qatari lady then i keep it by my self" after i surrender, CID took me & send me to jail in 1 day...after that they send me deportation stay they in 3 days & send back home...that's why i mean thats a minor because i didn't attend any court trial or any finger prints...

so is there possibilities that we can clear my name...my wife is now starting to speak to my previous company! of that was granted..what is the next step to fixed my problem! thanx & regrds...

Even you already stayed outside Qatar for Two years..It doesn't mean you can come back again.. You said you have made a ninor problem, even minor or major you have still the records in the police that is why you are banned to enter. Tell your wife to go to Immigration, to inquire for what reasons why you cannot get an entry visa and what to do???

you were deported for some crime which you claim is minor. what was the crime in the first place ? you havent mentioned that. If it is a minor crime there is no need for deportation.

Ask your wife to go to your old sponsor and approach them to remove the ban on you. It is not that tough if they are willing to help you and your wife.

cleared only officially. You never mentioned why they deported you, major or minor, it is still a record and need to be cleared. Let your wife get a clearance from your former company and to the Ministry! Hopefully, you an join your wife here again. Good luck!
