Hi to everyone, hi kabayan, hope you're all doing well, I have a question which was answered many times but with different answer's due to the new rules applied in Qatar, my wife is currently pregnant on her 5th month and yes! it's a baby boy, and we are both working here with different company sponsorship, my salary is below QR 10,000 and we are staying to our relatives flat somewhere in doha, my question is, if my wife gave birth here in Doha, is it possible to get the visa of my baby under my sponsorship even though my wife is on other sponsorship? i want to get the baby visa under my RP not on my wife, is there any updated feedback on this matter? what are the requirements to be submitted incase? Any comments, suggestion, and recommendation are highly appreciated, Thanks to all.

I gave birth here in Qatar for our second baby. We never had problem with our first child to get rp under her father even she was born in phils. But our baby boy which supposedly more easier to get rp is the one who had problem. Try... maybe you can as what others says.. im just telling based on my own exp.

@paulo, in-case your wife give birth of your baby. There is no problem for the baby to stay with you here in Qatar because both of you got married in Qatar and your baby is Born in Qatar. Please first to do, process your baby's documents to Phil. Embassy and apply for baby's passport. Good luck..!

It is possible, all you need is to prove that you are legally married (an attested marriage certificate) and that both of you are earning enough to support your family (Salary certificates from your Sponsors respectively), and all other formalities are same which are required for a family visa.

Ask help of a PRO. He can assist and guide you on this. I know someone who have 2 children born here and was in the same situation before. Now they are okay.

As per my own experience it is not possible to get the RP of your baby under your sponsorship except if your wife is under husband sponsor. My hubby and I have the same company sponsor but still we didn't get RP for our child under him and even they informed us that he's unable to sponsor our child after 1 year and 5 months i gave birth. they even asked us to send our child out of Doha and process his documents while he is outside. Today, is his 1st month out of the country and we still don't have any feedback on our application..
