Hi all, recently I got an offer & Visa from one QATAR company and presently I am in UAE holding valid resident permit. Is it possible for me to work there without cancelling the UAE visa?(B'coz my present company not allow 2 resign). It would be great if anyone could assist me with clear details. thank you and good luck 2 all.

its better if u do it in legality, i mean u must resign and put cancellation in ur passport for u to be able to comeback in dubai otherwise ur employer in dubai might report u in immigration as run away which put u ban to enter the country

I think it will be mandatory for you to cancel UAE visa before you can have a resident permit in Qatar. However as per my knowledge there is no restriction in UAE to cancel your RP.

One of my friend didn't resign in dubai's company and moved to Qatar without informing them and he worked here for almost one year. He did not get any problem during the period.

Thus i think u can do the same.

All the best.

You can only hold one GCC residency permit at a time.
