I was in the same boots some months back.... !!! I had a visa which came to me by e-mail and all in Arabic... So I asked the HR of my company (who sent it to me) what is this all about.. They told me that this is just for my information. They won't ask for it... I knew the company from before so I was very sure that they are not doing any funy things... So I just came...and everything was quite smooth... So, if you have got it from an authentic source then dont worry... Just proceed. Once you arrive here no one would even check that paper from you.. Coz Once a visa is issued it gets registered in their system. So just by looking at your passport they would know whether you have a valid visa or not....

If you are not having enough confidence on the source from which the visa came then you can contact the Qatar Embassy in India for further assistance. They are in Mumbai & Delhi.

well to check the authenticity you can log on to www.moi.gov.qa and check the visa status. If its on the website its authentic. about the type of visa, are u coming here to work or visit? check for how long the visa is valid the dates. Work visa normally for 2 years visit visa for 1 month or 2 not sure.
