Holding an NOC.can i get a work visa

Hi,
I am writing this with regard to my husband John..
John worked in a Qcompany for a period of 5months.Due to some unavoidable reasons he had to resign from the company.Now we are in search of a new job here in qatar.The former company is giving NOC.The visa is transferable also.
But, today we heard from a friend that we cannot get a work visa from a new company as we couldnt complete 1 year in the former company(according to the qatar government rule).Inshort, we have to leave the country as noone will be able to help us even if there is an opening in their company.
Can someone help me with this regard. also the source from where I can get the details.

When he gets a job he only needs to go out of the country and cancel his current Visa and within 24 hrs he can come back with a new visa from the new company. simple as it is.
Suppose my huband gets another job here...can he get the company's visa since hez having NOC from the previous company eventhough he couldnt complete 1 year in qatar..?

For Visa transferring, completion of one year or more is required. Since you have NOC, you can come back to qatar anytime on a work/business visa.
