How to apply visa extension through sms

Hello,

Can someone tell me how to apply visa extension through sms? My child has not entered Qatar yet since her visa was issued last June 2010. It expired on September 15 which I'd like to have it extended becasue my wife will be going home this coming Eid to get the child. I went to the ministry of labor but I was told to apply the visa extension thru SMS and my mobile phone was registered in their site, I was given a guide but its in Arabic . I ask few Arab colleagues to translate it but they can't exactly tell what to do also. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

helo,

ur visa related matters should be directly processed to Immigration Office in AlGhrafa and not in Ministry of Labour...

u might need to go there personally to inquire it, however, as far as i know, you cannot extend it, rather you need to process a new visa since it already reach its expiry date.
