HI QL, pls advice me on how to convert a visit visa of my wife & baby to a residence visa? They just arrived last Jan. 3, 2010. And i would like them to stay with me here in Doha as long as I am here. I am working and a resident here.
What are the requirements and procedures on converting their visit visa to residence visa?

thanks..Mabuhay!

Hai,

First you have to apply permanent visa for your family.. To apply for family visa you must need to give the following proofs..

1. Letter from your sponsor by mentioning your salary as QRS.7500/-

2. Contract for the above mentioned salary (Attested from Labour Department)..

3. Your profession in visa should be a good profession.

4. Bank statement for 6 months - proof for salary transferred from your office..

After getting visa you can convert their visit visa into permanent visa...for further details feel free to mail me...

Regards

Siddiq

U must apply for family visa approval through Labour Dept and to do that ur salary must be over QR. 7500.00 per month to qualify.

Once u get the approval u can switch the visa and make them resident just like u did when u came.
