anybody knows how to get any of those two citizenship ?! just to rent a flat. for 3 months i've been looking for a place, and i'm staying in diff. places now trying to get a permanent one, but everytime i call i got the same question, what's ur nationality, and then " sorry, only for indians, or filipinos. ".

Make it up

I guess you are honest and that's good, but you don't have to show them your passport, so just tell them what they want to hear. You don't need to lie, just when they say "What nationality are you?" reply with the question "What nationality are your other tenants?" When they say "filipino or Indian or Antarctican or whatever" just say " Oh, I think I will fit in just fine and be very happy there"

hmmm..sorry to hear this..but as you see, we just love to stick with our own. it's easier to live in a place where you feel like you're still in your own country or atleast with people you share the same taste for food, same values and all..

but please to remember that we (filipinos) are also the most friendly kind..

i do wish you'll find your abode soon..

best of luck!

Dear Friend

check the pinsolla (al-Sharq) or (al-Wattan)&they have to do this to stay in this country which they have been trated as low salary here gudge by nationality, so they have to protect themselfs by renting for indian or phillipinos only.i do respect that they refuse you even when you offer more than double.

These two countries (you have mentioned) has made Qatar like their own countries. Qatar is just another part of Manila or Delhi (if you don't believe visit these two palaces you will see yourself)

I feel sorry for Qatari- they dream of USA and UK but sorry to say country is heading opposite! This will what happen if you look for so cheap labours!

as of my knowledge indians are very prompt in pay the rent on time without any gr..gr..not only silent but calm, therefore landlords more intrested to lease to them.

Sorry! it is not possible to get Indian citizenship. It is exclusive. If you are a female then you can marry into an Indian family and get it. But otherwise not possible.

The only exception is "Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu" better known as "Mother Teresa of Calcutta".

But there are many illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries who eventually gets Indian citizenship by bribing corrupt officers.
