How much is the penality to get Qatar ID for 1st time, after 1yr & months of arival?
Hi guys!A friend of mine is here in Qatar for 1yr & 3months with working visa, with out an ID. So, what steps should he follow to get his ID? and how much is the penality they are charging? I heared that they charge per day but not quite sure how much.

As long as your friend has a valid visa, theres no penalty.
Your friend should ask his mandoob(PR guy) for the ID.
IDs are issued when visa is renewed/stamped. At times the ID printing machine breaks down and as a result, ID cards wont be issued so they ask you to come back n check later.
Ask your friend to request for his ID at the same office where his visa was stamped. Ask him to carry a copy of his visa page.
I m not sure but somebody told me, 10 riyals per day and 3 months prison and then out of the country.
