Qatar has a zero tolerance attitude to driving under the influence of alcohol. Drink driving offenders are punished by custodial sentences ranging from one month to three years, a fine or both. Those caught drink driving may also be deported. People should be aware that it if a police file is opened against them for a drinking or driving related offence, then they are not allowed to leave the country until the case has been resolved. Most cases are straightforward, but more serious offences can take six months to go to court.

Once police catch you.... most probably you may get some jail term to taste.... then deportation.... If you want to go within a month... please refrain from stupid things....

I think... already so many advises given above in comments... that should be enough...

We do not know what is in your mind... clear your mind and read above comments....

With all due respect, I think you're being stupid. Your option has no gaurantee that you will be released in time. You will also have to pay a hefty fine. can you afford that ?

Mu sponsor wants I payed him money for exit permit. I don't have so much he want. In labour office the officer speak with him on arabic (I don't know about what) and they told me to pay this money. Sponsor does not give me my copy of contract. I' m almost sure that I still have probation period.

I just want to know what the authority will do when I will catched them drunk.

First go to the Human Rights Committee and tell them. They will intervene. If that doesn't work, go to the Labour Court and they will make sure your sponsor gives you an exit permit. If you begin to take steps coming Sunday, hopefully you will be out of Qatar before the week ends. Just don't take any drastic action such the one you have stated. It will only complicate things and delay your departure.

"Slap your boss twice. Let him inform the police. You inform the police why you slapped him. Police will intervene and you can leave. Drinking will put you even in more trouble."

What troubles can be?

Stop your negative thinkings first, if you are matured enough, you will think & plan wisely instead of crooked methods. Speak to your sponsor, he will consider unless you become aggressive with them. Go out peacefully do not go violent will be in more troubles dear. As MM said, when a man can tame lion, why not you tame your boss.

John, Ask him the reason for stopping you from leaving ? .............. Explain him the situation & he may agree to it ........... meet him personally ....... respect him from your heart .......... you will see a change very soon ...............

Instead of taking such drastic action, why not go to your embassy first and ask for help. The other option is the labour court
