thanks guys, your comments are highly appreciated. I have actually been thinking of your suggestions re talking to the company who wants to hire me, to ask my sponsor to cancel my visa and ask NOC so I can be issued a new one and also to try my luck in the human rights.
I do hope something works out since I really want to stay here :(
This is a critical situation but I can suggest you two ways, where you have 20 percent chances:-
1. Don't ask your sponsor for transfer of sponsorship but instead talk to him to cancel your visa and then give you NOC to join other company, that way they should not have any problem, as you will not hold their visa slot. If you transfer your sponsorship through normal channel, the present sponsor cannot apply another visa against your visa slot. Hope they will understand, and give you NOC in that case.
2. As you are already been removed from the present job and no possibility in the next company, then last option is to try your luck in the human rights. Explain your case, hope they can help you in some instance.
I suggest you tell to the company who is hiring you to talk to your present employer or even write a letter to them that they want to employ you directly then there is a chance that you will get the release.
Thanks, actually, my sponsor is different from my boss. I am under the sponsorship of a sister company, but my sponsor has shares in the company that i worked for. My boss approved my request for transfer but the sponsor did not. Since my boss approved me, he got another one for my replacement and now, Im left out-in danger of losing both :(
Its so sad but the sponsorship law in Qatar can be regarded as one-sided, only for the benefit of employers.
At least, they should have some considerations or options under conditions such as finishing a contract. In my case, I have been with my company for 3 years.
to my knowledge re: transferring visas, even if it is a government co. or private, everything will depend on your previous sponsor... everything can be polished by a good conversation and a good talk. try to convince your previous sponsor that you have no other intention or whatsoever but just to work here in Doha and nothing else.

For my case I got the release.
Goodluck!
nothing. without NOC immposible for transfer sponsor
The only possible way is the employer wish to give NOC otherwise nothing to do with it hence try to get it.
