Hello,
I have received a job offer from one of the companies in qatar 4 weeks ago and they applied for my employment visa immediately. There is no reply from Visa authority till now. Is there any restrictions imposed on Indian visas recently? If yes, what exactly is that and will i be able to get my visa to start work in qatar? Please reply and help me understand the status.

Are u from india? when did you got ur visa. I think this restriction is only for indian visas and very recently.

I got my Employment Visa in 7 days.

Try follow-up with your Company's HR Department, It should not take that long.

Hi Vipin,

What I understand from few friends in qatar is that the govt. is holding the visas and waiting for a month . This is in background of some visa policy change they are making and if this policy is not in favour, then you have to wait for one year.
