in Philippines is a requirement by Qatar for "residence visa" application. So for those who will be Father- or Husband-sponsored persons, it's a must to undergo medical exam in our country.
..i think its useless to go medical exam in PI because normally when they arrive here, still they need to undergo the medical exam required which is more viable. Besides, thats just agency requirement for income generations.Dont waste money.
i would like to take my family also in qatar. the question is, if my 1 year old baby still needs to take medical exam in Philippines? how true that kids below 12 years old don't need any medical exam in the phils? hope somebody could help...

I think Isobel is correct that only your wife needs to undergo medical test on an acredited medical center as requirement prior to Qatar Embassy stamping of Visa on passport. If my memory is correct, kids 12 years old and below is not required for medical test.

Hullo!Based on personal experience, (I was brought here via family resident visa, together with my 3 yr old boy 5 months back by my husband). Before leaving Pinas, I took a medical exam in one of their accredited clinic. When we arrived here, hubby told me to take another medical exam and we went to the Supreme Health Commission (I think) - govt health office. Had my blood sample and chest x-ray taken. My toddler was exempted from the medical exam.
in Labor, then it's a family residence visa so they need to udergo medical exam in the Philippines. But if the application was ONLY applied at Qatar Immigration, then it is a family visit and they don't need a medical from Philippines. But both visa will require medical when they arrive here. The first to get a residence visa good for five years and the latter to get a six months extension.
Thanks for the reply Wongfei & alexam,Even my 1 year old baby also need medical exams in philippines before going to Doha? Or they can take medical exams here on the application of Pataka?
Yes wongfei is right. It's an advantage for them to take medical exam in P.I. as well. Just in case they are sure that there will be no problem at all when they'll have medical exam here. They have to take medical exam after one month of stay here in Qatar. Blood, stool exam and chest x-ray in an accredited clinic in P.I. will suffice the needed test to avoid hassle once here in Qatar.

maybe just get your doctor's prescriptions or certificate that your wife is healthy(of course after examination) but dont go for agency medical exam.
