My wife and children will be coming to doha on a family visit visa. I heard that an ivitation letter and affidavit of support legalized by the Philippine embassy in doha is required by the manila airport authorities.

From where or who should issue the invitation letter if I am the one sponsoring them? or is invitation letter totally different from affidavit of support? Thank you

The above recommendations are correct except that the immigration officers are asking now for the ORIGINAL affidavit of support and invitation letter notarized by Philippine Embassy in Qatar.

Still the BI is proud that they offloaded 21,000 Pinoys. If these 21,000 Pinoys were able to work, there will be 120,000 Pinoy who can have food on thier table. If they don't want to have us work in abroad, then should provide us work in Philippines. To travel is a right.

Apart from the Invitation Letter from yourself, secure an affidavit of support from Philippine Embassy, bring the NOC you used when you secure your visa and visa copy. You'll pay QR100. As far as i know, Invitation letter is not needed since you are the sponsor. Affidavit will do. Just let them bring other necessary documents like Birth CERT, Marriage CErt and especially a copy of your ID. I think if you have OFC card, your wife and kids can get discount for the Tax but should provide original Birth Cert and Marriage Contract.
