Dear QLers;

I would like to seek some idea from you guys, as my friend really needs your inputs. My friend is working in one company here in Qatar. He's status in his company is "Bachelor" but indeed, the company allowed him to get his wife and kids under his sponsorship.

Now, my friend's company is in a not-well status, therefore it reducing its manpower and employees. My friend got terminated, Iqama cancelled!, but his company is willing to give him NOC. The thing is, my friend should exit Qatar. So the question is what will happen to his dependents (wife and kids?) they have to exit first before the exit of my friend? And what if, my friend got another offer from other company, what are the steps he will do before exiting Qatar?

Your inputs are very much appreciated.

If your friend has to go out of the country he must send his family first or he needs take them with him. He can only stay in the country for few days after the cancellation of visa therefore he must find out from his sponsor how long the grace period is and act accordingly. If he stay additional days than the days he could stay and pass grace period too, then there will be a penalty for an over stay without visa which he has to pay at the airport when leaving. He must speak to the sponsor office to understand he and his family standing on regards

Dependents RP gets cancelled automatically once his visa is cancelled. All have to exit and make new RP after his return and new RP. Same procedures for family visa again.
