Is it okay to use the same passport even it has already an expired visa sticker?

MY son was here in Qatar last July 2009 and he left last 19 November 2009 and his visit visa is under my sponsorship and already expired on 3rd December 2009.
Question is? Is it okay to use the same passport when I get him again another visit visa next year?
Well, he is already 26 years old and I cannot anymore get him a Family Visa...Now, I have another question? My wife is here with me now in Qatar and she is now holding a Resident Family Visa under my sponsorship...Can my wife sponsor my son and get him a Family Visa? what is the requirements for her to sponsor my son?

Your Son's Passport will be still ok to apply for another visit visa but you or your wife cannot sponsor a son who is now above 26 years. You can sponsor only daughters if they are above 15 or 18 years and for boys above that age should find a local person or a company to sponsor them. It will be better to ask your company to sponsor him.
