JOB AND Resignation

My company sponsored me from my home country. And they provideed the air fare. After six months now i want to resign from the company because of some family problems and am not metally fit. But company is asking me to pay the expense for giving me the exit permit. I told them i will return the RP Expense and Air fare. Total 1600 riyals. But the company asking me to pay 10000 Riyals for accepting my resignation. I dont thave 10000 riyals. My salary is only 1700 riyals. What can I do? Please help me

If your sponsor won't give you an exit visa/permit, then call the Qatar Human Rights Council located on Salwa Rd., along Jarir Bookstore...

from what i gather in your post...it's seems you would have no choice but to give in to your company's demand...beacause YOU are the one who is breaking the agreement by resigning early.

question: how did you get to the conclusion that you are mentally unfit??

is this a self diagnosis? or do you have a medical certificate that says so?

because of you have a medical certificate this might aide your plea.

TALK TO SOMONE WHO CAN TALK ARABIC AND GO WITH HIM TO LABOUR DEPT, HUMAN RIGHTS DEPT ETC, ETC

DONT LEAVE THE COMPANY...TO GO SCOT FREE
