Hello:

Do you all know as to why Qatar does not issue visas to Jordanian nationals (or holding off to do so)?

Thanks!

They don't give offical reasons, it just doesn't happen. We can all summise why but they are never explicit. Sorry.

They do it to Palenstinian Americans as well....

Arab unity is one of the biggest myths going.... the joke about the Arab League is when they meet the only thing they agree on is to disagree...

world. I think many have learned better and that is why we don't see Arab unity as a wide-spread reality.

nope not yet but was advised by a third party of complications but they didnt specify. its crazy how middle eastern countries will do that to each other but open their doors easily to non-middle eastern countries..

but don't give up. I thought most of this had been worked out and they would be issuing visas for Jordanians again but apparently not yet. Have you asked your Embassy what the status is on Jordanian visas?

Countries like Qatar never give official reasons if they are not issuing visas for certain nationalities.

If you ask, they will say apply and your application will be judged on its merits.
