Hi frndz,

I am recently working as a secretary 4 more than 2 months, but last week my sponsor decided to bring me 2 their house to teach English 4 his children 4 good with out even asking me if I will agree.

Then, I decided to refuse living in their house. I said its ok 4 me to teach his children but, I dont want to stay in their house because its very far from the city and besides in my visa Im going to work as secretary in his office and not as a totur or babysitter.

Can I ask everyone if my decision is really good 4 me?
Because now my sponsor is angry he don't want me 2 work in office and he don't want 2 release me either.
And 1 thing is my visa had already expired last feb.6 I do not take finger print yet until now.

Please I really need advice especially kabayan.

thanx in advance....

I think working visa is 10riyal per day right?...he is qatari and yes I have the original contract here....in my contract the sponsor is the name of the office and not the owner of the office...by the way the employer of my mother is willing to pay to my sponsor in all his expenses but he said he don't care about the money

Daisy,

Who sponsored you in your job. Thats the first question, If you are secretary and sponsored by your employer, then you are at risk. No NOC... No re-entry in QATAR. Even you didnt take fingerprint here in qatar, they have their basis with your work visa. Oh by the way, 3 months probation, it might be, your going to shoulder all expenses paid by your sponsor from VISA to plane ticket.

TINAKOT PA EH... hehehe.. Call POLO or our Philippine Embassy for assistance. That's the best answer for your problems.

Check your visa status 1st. If it was expired feb 6 and hasn't been renewed yet, i was informed that there is a penalty of 100QR or 200QR per day depending on your previous visa. You have to be careful. Is your current sponsor your employer? Whats the nationality of your sponsor? Do u have a copy of your contract? Those things needs to be established. what is stated in your contract would be your basis. Better yet, check advise from your mother since she might know more rules here as u said she also works here.

Tell him that you learned Arabic from his kids and they never learn. If he need to teach English to his kid he should arrange a lady who knows Arabic and English otherwise how you will translate English words to them??!!

ask help in Philippine embassy soon as possible or else the next thing you know, she will bring you to the airport to send you back to Philippines without informing you.
