Labour Approval....
Hi guys....I just have a small question. My wife recently went for an interview in a bank. She was told that she was selected and told that her cv was sent for labour clearance....they said it'll take about two weeks usually....It seems they have told her that once that clearing comes she can sign the offer letter and come to work....she has asked whether she needs to send her documents again to labour...they have said it is not necessary...anyway,right now she is employed in another bank as a Temp.so her papers have already gone to CID from the present bank as a Temp....Any idea why the new bank said such a story....Can I pls know how this works exactly...because many are saying different things...I wish I could know how it exactly happens....pls let me know if you guys know anything coz we don't know what to expect....
I too got selected for a reputed organization & papers are submitted, like, NOC from previous employer, medical, CID clearance,Finger prints & my orginal passport too a month ago. Still my visa is not stamped nor changed the sponsorship. The PRO just says "under processing". There is no way to track out the real status, no one can advice where to go and check the status and ofcourse the company won't give the application number or what so ever for tracking. Only thing is that you have to wait or should have good VASTA, I mean recommendation from some big shot (QATARI) to look into the status of your papers submitted.
Anyways BEST OF LUCKS...
Sometimes if the bank that she is willing to work in got a central head somewhere else in a different country then it might take that much of time. What I meant that sometimes the HR or Recruitment department would be in a different country. Not sure if that is the case with this bank.
Cheers buddy, everything would be fine ... If they got some issues then they will tell her that we will call you within a week or call you later [goes for most of the companies here if they are not willing to really hire you]
Best Regards
