my fellow kabayans i just received this from my friends through email and i dont know if this embassy circular is really true or not... u might be aware of this alsp or not, but i think this is something important. please spend time to read this.

Based on another memo i just read. you can still use it but you might need to renew it by 01 april 2010 to avoid inconveniences in all airports. 01 april 2010 is the date agreed by member countries of the International CIVIL Aviation Organization (ICAO)to have full implementation of the MRPs.

I guess, it's not yet implemented here in Doha. Sa Pinas pa lang. Dapat pala hinintay ko na lng. tsk tsk tsk....

Really?... I just got hold of my passport last sunday pro di sya machine readable... same old green-colored one lang... =(
