Medical test Hepatitis, RP for Qatar...yes again...same question
Sorry for asking again, but have seen so many questions with even more answers. Problem is that I have had the hepatitis B virus long time ago (never have been sick). My body cleared the virus and I am not contagious. My blood shows negative for HBsAg, positive for HB Core antibody. Question: can I get a RP? Some people say if it's HBsAg negative than it's ok, other people say no matter what, I will be deported, because the core total is positive.
And others even say: if you don't work with food/school or healthcare -> no problem.
Is there somebody here who can help me with this issue?
I have been offered a good package, however I don't want to risk my job in my homecountry. If I quit, they will not hire me back, so I really want to be sure I will pass this medical test before accepting this offer.
So nobody knows for sure? Is it possible to take the test while I visit Qatar?
I think they have a zero tolerance policy towards any positive result in the blood test but I'm not 100% sure.
