I have a colleague who joined work at the age of 58.. When I told her about the 6 months family visa option she's not convinced so I m giving her options :-)

Dear Alamim have you paid attention that her Mother is at age of 54?...6 months renewal is the best option i think...

Well, one other option is to help her get a job here.. That way she will not require ur support to stay in doha.

If she's qualified, she can work as a teacher.. If not check if there are people who can sponsor her on house maid visa.. Or may be a parlour.. Check out the options and decide accordingly.

Your husband can apply for her visa. I understand that you are under your husband's sponsorship. In order to bring ur mother to Qatar, your husband should get NOC from his company stating that they do not have objection if your mother comes to qatar. Once he gets that letter, your husband should go to immigration office and apply for her visa. This visa is valid for 6 months and can be extended on request.
