Dear Sir,

I am from Pakistan working in Saudi Arabia since last 5 years. I need some information for Qatar. I have an offer from Qatar freight forwarding company can you confirm me please what documents we need from our employer and How much it will take time in visa processing from Pakistan to Qatar? NOC is required from Saudi Arabia? Any idea who is the good agent in Pakistan to process all these things?

After Arrival,
1) Qatar govt will issue working permit for how many years and what are the good professions on Iqama (work permit)?
2) What are the living expenses cost and housing cost for 1 single room with bath?
3) Can I apply for my wife residence vise under my sponsorship? Its easy?
4) Over all Qatar is good for living?

Please advise me i will be very thankful to you.

Thanks,

Ali

Yes my brother,

in countries like UAE, Qatar they dont require the visa to be stamped like Saudi arabia, they give u copy of visa and they will ask u keep the copy in your hand while u are travelling to qatar, and once reach qatar, qatar immigration will stamp the visa there, because ur visa is in there system. so no need to stamp the visa on ur passport... once they will put ur passport number in the system in qatar immigration they will get all the information on their screen.

this is for all the nationalities. not for pakistan only.

secondly, to satisfy urserlf, once your company will be giving u the visa via email or hard copy, u can ask ur company in qatar also.. i mean the HR in qatar for your company, they will tell u the same.

my recommendation, directly come from saudi to qatar. to avoid processess in pakistan.

goodluck.

Many thanks for your detail replied I want to clear one thing more; my visa is under process i am fully in contact with office in Jeddah they said we will issue your visa within 2 weeks. When I will receive my visa from new company then I will resign from my current company after that defiantly they will stamped final EXIT on my passport. After this procedure can i come to Qatar along with QATARI WORK VISA without endorsement on my passport? No issues on Qatar Airport they will accept me??? Are you sure? Or is there any other rule for Pakistani Passports? Please advise thanks,Ali

Dear Ali,

Welcome on board, Congratulations on getting the offer. Qatar is one of the growing economies within GCC, as you already know that.

I will prefare to live in Qatar actual. im sure u will enjoy as well, there is good life here. i had also came from Saudi to Qatar.

Depends on you employer, for how many years visa they will get. usually here the visa renewal are happening here on yearly basis. like we use to have in saudi every 2 years.

No need for any agent in pakistan, they will sent u copy of the visa just travel to qatar with that copy of visa.

No need for NOC but its better u take the noc  for your carreer may beu require in future to go back for any oppotunity in saudi.

would advise u to, once u get the visa from qatar, then cancel ur saudi residence visa and travel to qatar directly to avoid some processes in pakistan. once u are in qatar , get ur residence permit ready within some days , then apply for family visa, and u can travel to any where.

one single room will be like less then 500QR per month. depends what standard u are looking for.

Immigration laws are generally easier, so if u are getting the engineer, manager, executive profession then you will get the family/wife visa faster.

Qatar is good to live.

Goodluck.
