i am in qatar on a visit visa. i have got my permanent visa approved from the labour department.what is the next step. do i have to undergo the medical examination again and then the fingerprints.
can anyone plz explain the procedure for what to do next.
while your visa is prosses you can't leave the country. so what you need to do is. keep the visa with you and travel to your country on your old visa if you have any time left on it. when you come back to doha use your new visa to enter the country they will give you three months to do your med and finger print. the med takes about one month to be done and the finger print about four days and the passport stamp with the new visa one day. goodluck.
actually i am here on a family visit visa under my husbands sponsership. the mandoop of his company had got my permanent visa issued from the labour deparment and had given it to us.
now he says that u get thru the medical commision and the finger printing and then gv the papers to me.
rest he will handle.
my husband is really busy nowadays so i have to handle it myself.
is it also possible that i go to india and then re enter on my new visa.(i have to go to india this month)
what type of visa were you earlier on ??? extending a tourist visa or a business visit visa doesnt need you to undergo a medical exam.
As far as i can understand from your question, you have come here on a family visit visa and now have got a job here and hence a visa from the employer.
You will need to go for the medical test again and then go ahead with the fingerprinting process. Take your last medical report with you (the bill); if it is less than 3 months since your last test they might let you off without the examination.

Work visa or family visa, consult your company's Mandoob
for the next steps or go back to the Labour Dep't.
or you can go to the Immigration for proper guidance.
