New Work Visa stamped: But old one is not to be seen

Hi,

Two days back I renewed my one year visa and i got a new visa valid for 2 years, however the old visa is not to be seen. Also I have received the new ID card, but then they keep the old one...

The issues is I am planning to go to Dubai for 2 days and I guess my position does let me have some kind of visa on arrival, however without proof of the last one year, would they issue me any visa at Dubai airport.

I do have an onward ticket from Dubai after 2 days of the planned landing..

any help plss...

The imigration department probably stuck the new sticker on top of the old one..
