News about Family Visit Visa from MOI

I want to know how I can obtain family visit visa for my 2 years daughter .

My statues on my ID is carpenter but i am working from last 1 years in Staff my Salary is 4000 QR

and last month my wife get a job in school her status is teacher her salary also same .

my daughter with us in qatar up on tourist visa. I have Tenant Agreement.

I would like to share my visa issue. I got an offer from QF,my work visa as per moi portal shows issued on 011/06/2013 and validity 08/12/2013 but status shows under process.It is almost 5months is over even HR says wait till the status change. If you have family here then I think there is no problem reg your profession to bring your mother here on visit visa

No need of bank statement for family visit visa... u only need below things

1. letter from employer stating your position, salary and other details

2. House contract, No need of attestation

3.Any profession not below than technician

5. Minimum salary must 5+K QR

Correct, You can have appointment with the officer and request him for extension with some genuine reason. It will be extended I'm sure but go with solid and genuine reason for extension ok

Arman,... how do u know that I can extend 2-more months? wherein its written, extendable for 5-months only for immediate family members? if other relatives, it will be extendable for 2-months only.

Dear family visit visa is for 6 months and if you are lucky enough you can extend it for 2 more months it means total 8 months visa you can have....

how come they only provide family visit visa for my wife for only 1-month and and extended additional 5-months if there were a VISA FOR WIFE for 1-year or more?

My mother-IN- LAW is on visit now . She has got only 3 months . it will be finishing on 30 th Sept-2013 . Is that possible to renew for further 3 months ?

Professions that can bring families on visit visa should also be mentioned for the clarification! Moreover salary limit criteria is also missing..these are two important points if someone understands!
