NOC
I'm working in present company from 2011 and now I have four years completed. When I ask them to have NOC, said they can't give it. Is not there any chance to have it, By draft law or is there any other government announcement about that yet. Can someone help me on this matter please. Thanks.
@Jonsnow ..That is not possible, as per law in qatar, providing NOC is at sole discretion of the sponsor.
During interview/negotiation you should have insisted that NOC is part of your employment contract.

In both cases NOC is a must ..

I think the answer is simple.
Everyone goes home after end of contract.
No ban period.
New company brings you back on their visa if they want you.
Wait for n no. of years for new laws to be imposed ..
Unless there are serious issues, No company wants to lose it's employees.
If you ask like this, no company would agree to give noc ..

I am very patient and I would like to answer your question dear. Even if you work here for lifetime, your employer(s) might refuse to give you NOC. It is not mandatory.
This is question that is asked every second day at QL. That is why you may be seeing the reaction from britexpat. He is a very sensible person and will be able to somehow control himself. I may need to offer him a Karak and some poori from Rizks emporium which he loves very much. The problem is that you and many others do not follow regularly this important and very helpful site Qatar Living. Otherwise, you would not have asked this question. Now, coming to your query, there is just no other way by which you can get an NOC if your employer refuses to give you one.
you can cancel your RP go back to your country . Then come in on a new visa for your new company . Did it my self you just have to wait 2 years
