Is NOC required for changing jobs if leaving the Country?

Hi
I am an Indian Expatriate living and working in Qatar under the sponsorship of my employer. Recntly, I have decided to go back to Indid and hence resigned from my job. My Contract is renewed anually and would have expired on the 27th of June 2011.
However, very recently I have received a very exciting offer from one company registered under QFC. I have heard that after leaving Qatar if one wants to come back with a QFC company then NOC from the previous employer is not required.
Could anyone please guide me on this matter. Please let me know if a NOC would be required for such a case where I am already destined to leave the country and there would be no local transfer involved, do i still need to get an NOC from my previous employer?

do make sure that you obtain NOC from your current sponser and submit to your new sponser before you leave the country or else you will default get 2yrs BAN as per qatari Law irrelevant even if you complete your contract still you need NOC for sure. if u do nto have NOC you cannot enter qatar on emplowyment again

To my knowledge, you cannot enter Qatar without an NOC or wait for 2 years. Regarding the "Q" companies, its better for you to clarify this matter directly with them before you leave Qatar.

Its very difficut to return back to Qatar with another company's visa, if your previous company hasn't given NOC. But you can come back with business visa. So please try to get NOC from the current employer. Best wishes.
