NOC before resignation

My CEO is leaving our company in a month. He suggested too that I leave the company since I deserve better salary than what I am receiving now.

He told me he will help me get an NOC before he leaves just to secure me, bec probably the next mngt wont release resigning employees. I dont have plans of leaving very soon unless there is a better offer.

Will there be any problem if I let him give me NOC and just keep it in my pocket until I finally decide to leave the company? Note that I am under the company's sponsorship and will expire in 2 mos time.

Please advise if I will accept his offer of getting me NOC but i dont want to create any impression to the HR that I am resigning soon.

Thanks!

If you are not willing to resign very soon, why hurry for NOC then? By asking for NOC you will give an impression to your company that you are leaving, which will jeopardize your growth chances.

When you get a good offer, think about it then.

felix.pereira, nice to see someone who is talking sensible when it comes to immigration mattes. :)

The only thing, Sponsorship transfer form will also need new signature, once the Signatory is changed in the Immigration License (Company card).

Hi,

Date of NOC and your term of cancellation counts when it relates to NOC. Once the management changes the New computer ID will have new authorised personnel.

Hence there can be problem in later months if you leave the company and go.

Inorder to save guard your interest it better to quickly look out for job and get your sponsorship transfer.

Instead of NOC better take Sponsorship transfer form duly signed which is safer.
