Is it required "Ok to on board" from India to Qatar on business visa? Because I am flying from India via jetairways and they said you will have to send some one on qatar airport for it.

Hi, with the new Free Visa on arrival for Indians, do we still need "OK to board" for Indigo flights? I am bringing my mother for the first time to Qatar, dont want her to go through any hassle.

Thanks

hi all, i am travelling to doha to visit my wife on a visit visa along with my daughter and mother. The jet airways told me to get the ok to board and i am not sure how it works. Do we just need to send an email with all documents to [email protected] and they will send the ok to baord status via email? Please advise. Urgent!

It is required otherwise Jet airways staff at Indian airport will not allow you to board the flight. Ask your travel agent to make status "OK TO BOARD", they will do it by sending visa message to Jet airways

Yes it is essential for travelers traveling from India. Go to jet airways office and they will check the visa status and copy of passport of the person traveling. If you will not do so in India the jet airways personal will not allow your visitors to board the flight.

You may not be allowed to board at the airport. It is advisable to get the "OK to board" from your airline people because in case should you not be allowed entry by the immigration at Qatar airport for any reason, it then becomes the responsibility of the airline to take you back to your destination from where you boarded the plane. Also, when the booking is done, the airline issuing the ticket, always does its own confirmation on the visa status without which they will not confirm your booking. You should insist with the airline people to place an "OK to board" stamp on your ticket. By not doing so, they are simply avoiding their responsibility. Please note, even if someone is at the Qatar airport to receive you, he will not be able to come to the immigration counter to help you out, should their be any problems. If you still continue to face problems with your airline, go for Qatar Airways.
