Please help me.

My father traveled from Doha before 6 months.
He will stay there 2 months more.
What is the procedure to return Qatar.
He has 3 years residence permit(iqama) .

I heard before airport immigration was doing but now they stopped .

Can main immigration will allow him to come back ?
