overlapping visa
Just want some clarifications. B is working under husband's sponsorship and C is working under Father's sponsorship. Both B and C's visa are expiring by January while the husband's visa is expiring by August. Can B and C stay until January even though husband's visa will expire by August?
What are the consequences and penalty?
Penalty per day is Qrs. 10/-
A's visa expires on AUgust 2012, while B and C residence permit expires in JAnuary 2013. Does it mean that B And C can stay until Novemeber or 90 days upon expiry of A's visa. If they go beyond 90 days, what is the penalty per day?
LP got it right
B is working under husband's sponsorship. So B can stay as long as Husband visa is there. But it expires in August2012 so B's visa will also expire in Aug 2012.
C is working under Father's sponsorship. So C can stay as long as Father's Visa is valid.
:-(
They can stay as long as the expired visa is in the renewal process. Having an expired visa means that you have 90 days to renew it. (Without penalty)- until November, but the visa A has to be renewed by then.
why not renew to be on safer side , instead of paying the penalty
No way B & C can stay with visa of A is expired!
presuming that you are talking of August of one year and January of the next, the answer is NO.
Dependents cannot overstay the sponsor
