Hi QLers,

My mother-in-law is here in Qatar. Her visit visa expires on 11-Jan-2015. However, her ticket is on 12-Jan-2015 (Evening). If she leaves the country on 12, will it be considered as overstay? Do I need to pay the penalty fee? Any answer will be highly appreciated.

One month visa extension means 30 days only.

No need to worry , One day is not problem no charges also as she is flying I had a similar experience.

According to my Knowledge there is 1 Day Grace Time for Visit Visa. So' hopeful u will be not fined.

DO NOT WAIT FOR 11TH OR 12TH

YOU WILL BE FINED AT THE AIRPORT

Actually, this happened because I extended the visa for a month one day before it was expiring using Metrash. That is, Metrash counts the extension from the day you apply not from the original expiry date. Any idea how to change this?
