Parents' Vacation
Based on my experience as a reporter here, there have been a series of complaints from many people who are unable to travel out of Doha for one reason or the other during summer especially, that as much as they wanted their parents to join them for vacation here, they have been unable to do so, thanks to a ceiling on age of sponsored parents by the Qatari government. I will like members who have been refused visas for their parents between 65-75 years old by the immigration department to share their views on the law banishing parents in that age range from coming into Qatar.
I want them to share the reasons cited by the immigration and what they would have achieved if such parents were allowed in.
