Please, explain some issues on Visa

Hi there,

My husband works in Doha and he's got a residence visa. I am going to travel to Doha too. But now we have some problems with my visa. My husband has already applied for me visa. According to the information on www.moi.gov.qa, there is already a visa number, but in front of the visa status it is written "Sorry, visa is not printed" and there is no visa type there. Can anybody tell me what this means?
And also I'd like to know during which period of time do they make a visa (we are waiting for more than a week, and I need it immediately as I have an affairs in Doha)? At the immigration dprt they say "Inshalha"...

Thank you.

Yeah... The situation is curious. It is hard for me to understand all those things.

Hope my husband can inspire anybody - we haven't seen each other 4 months - and they will print it.

That message you get in at MOI web site means that your visa is approved and issued. It only need to be printed so that you can travel to Doha. So, the whole issue is to have somebody (whoever applied for your visa) to click the mouse on visa printing button. As simple as that. Good luck.

You need to pray for the guy who is handling this to get inspired and do that HUGE effort :D

it's really hard to predict a time frame...also, i have heard that there are some restrictions for some certain nationalities, specially females, specially of your age...I hope it's not a case, and your issue will be solved right after Ramadan... now everything is very slow in here..

well - over here at the immigration - one can never predict time frames! So the time duration for gettin a visa out - DEPENDS on too many trivial issues - at times you cant get visas because the printer is not working or the system is down etc..

And with Ramadan - things are a bit slow. Try to get the company PRO to exert some influence / vasta to get things faster!
