Possible to Get No Objection Letter?
I have a Filipino friend who is in a terrible job with terrible pay, she was hired in the Philippines over 2 years ago. She wants to quit and find a new job here in Doha, but her company won't give her a release. I am curious, if I hired a Qatari lawyer to try to get her a release, do you think it would work?
I know the company, and they HATE to spend any kind of money, and am pretty sure they would cave in and give her the release instead of getting into a legal case, even if the law IS on their side. Do you think it's worth it?
From where and how can i obtain a visit visa. What would be ot period? Since i have to look out for a job i need to stay there for a longer period.Kindly advice.
Thanks n Regards.
Ranna: You can come on a visit visa and try to find a job, just make sure you bring the NOC since without it most companies will not even talk at you. You can try the Qatari embassy in your country if there is one, or contact your embassy in Doha.

mr .saadi,i have to come to qatar to look up for a new job.
Wat would u advice me.i dont have any newsponser,i have to look up for job, then only i will be able to apply.
Thanks in advance
Obviously your new sponsor should apply for your new visa not you. They are the one who would decided about the visa category.
Don't think a lawyer would even take the case, that alone be able to help. The law is pretty clear that it is up to them employer if they want to give an NOC or not.

me to travel to Qatar?for which visa d i have to apply.plz advice
After TWO years, an employee is ELIGBILE to move to a new job. Not that Company "usually" let you go !!!!!
Better - if you keep the previous sponsor in good humour and manage to get an NOC
'forget it, it is impossible and not worth the Effort. She should go home, forget about Qatar and find another place to work. Try Scandinavia, they need People.
I guess I was just thinking that since she has been here over two years...I heard that after 2 years companies usually will let you go.
Hardly worth it at all. Even with a lawyer the company have no obligation to give an NOC if they don't want to.
