Power of Attorney from Indian Embassy - Do not have Qatar ID
Dear Friends,
I’m applying for home loan in India, and they require GPA to be notarized by the Indian Embassy – Qatar.
Introduction: Basically I’m a resident of India, but working in Doha, Qatar for the last 2 years. I was frequently travelling to India with business visa, but last month I’ve got resident permit visa and now I’m in the process of getting RP card. My company said that it will take one more month to complete all the formalities to get resident permit card.
With reference to the above details, my query is as follows; as currently I do not have Qatar ID, can I get my GPA document attested by Indian Embassy? As the requirement is very critical I can not wait for a month time, so requesting for your kind clarification on getting GPA attested without Qatar ID.
Thanks & Regards,
tripeln
I think people are lazy. They do not want to do it themselves and need other to solve their problems. What is stopping you from visiting Indian embassy?
Further, even if you get a GPA attested by Indian Embassy, no Bank in India will entertain an application for a loan unless you have a contract approved by MOI here in Qatar. Why can't you push your company for getting the ID earlier. It just takes a max of 4-5 days and all your problem gets resolved.
Try calling ICC they might help you. Also an employee from Emabssy visits daily after 8:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Their contact details Tel: 4468 6607 (Morning 9:00 am to 12:00 am) and evening (4:30 pm to 9:00 pm)
Also you may visit the Embassy directly and there is a counter for Enquiries
I've been trying to reach them from one week, but getting no response!!!
