Processing of Tourist Visa by Individual

Could anyone here help me know whether an individual having a Residence Permit/Work Visa here in Qatar allowed to process tourist visa for a friend?

I am working here in Qatar and my friend who is presently working in Dubai would like to visit our family here. What I only know right now is that tourist visa is normally secured thru hotels. I would like to help my friend in securing that visa. I want to know whether I will be allowed to process it instead of going to hotel for securing that visa.

Is there anyone here who had gone to the same situation before? Please share with me what you had done (requirements and which government agency to apply).

If your friend is working in dxb then he can come to Doha without applying for a visa. He will show his dxb work visa in Doha airport and he will get a 15 days visit visa on arrival! Even he can renew his visa for another 15 days.

Thank you qatarisun for the website that you gave. However, I just browsed that website and I noted that applying for tourist visa requires confirmed booking in a hotel. My friend in Dubai does not need to get booking in a hotel as he could live in my villa during his stay here in Qatar. Is anybody here who had experience to secure tourist visa for a friend in GCCs (ex. Dubai)and did not secure any hotel booking? Could my friend make use of my name as sponsor and get the address of my villa in lieu of hotel booking? Do I need to prepare invitation letter to support his application for tourist visa? I appreciate and welcome any information related to my situation. Thank you guys....
